Checking Off To-Do's

To-Do Lists are something that I believe everyone has.  For us it seems that these lists can get to be a bit overwhelming.  To keep from draining ourselves, we've decided to do one room at a time in our house. Since we decided to start in our front hallway, we made a DIY To-Do List for just that area.  Here's what we came up with:

Front Entryway To-Do's

-Scrape ceiling
-Paint rest of hall lighter brown color  (we will post about this when we post about putting up our trim)
-Finish putting up trim
-Paint trim
-Paint ceiling
-Put up round light (this will be talked about in another post)
-Get console table (this too will be talked about in another post)
-Accessorize the console table--vases, table runner, etc.  (we still have a few things left to do, but mostly done--this will be shared with the table post)
-Paint front door
-Paint front door side panels white
-Change hardware on front door and on other doors
-Order another round light for second light in hallway
-Order summery wreath for front door
-Decide what to do with the small space next to the door--umbrella stand? Make into a bookcase? Mailbox slots?
-Make a collage on the striped wall
-Order white frames for wall collage
-Decide on a wall collage design
-Order/Make the following things for our wall collage:
          -Pictures
          -Drawing of our house
          -Skeleton Keys
          -Decorative "W"
          -Map Hearts (engagement, wedding, honeymoon)
          -Other small posters?
-Find sand and shells from our honeymoon to put in glass apothecary jars
-Take off closet doors
-Make front closet into mini mudroom
-Stain hardwood?
-Hang other artwork on the walls

We've got our work cut out for us, that is for sure!  Little by little though, we are going to crush this list!  Do you have a specific way of laying out your To-Do's?  Do you feel like your To-Do lists are never really done?  Tell us your To-Do List solutions! :)
